Justin’s work is an expression of both struggle and success, serving as a way to draw closer to his creator and as an avenue for healing. Humor and strangeness often emerge in his process, reflecting a playful curiosity and a desire to challenge conventional boundaries. Whether abstract or deliberate, his art speaks where words fall short. Much of his inspiration comes from deteriorating urban landscapes, where rust consumes, paint flakes, and graffiti spreads. Through this lens, he creates objects that feel authentic, strange, and original.

Working primarily in ceramics and metals, Justin crafts sculptures, functional objects, and jewelry. These mediums and the variety of techniques he employs allow him to shape materials into forms that feel both spontaneous and intentional, highlighting the tension between control and chaos.

Though much of his practice is three-dimensional, Justin also explores two-dimensional mediums such as book arts, screen printing, and photography. These additions bring elements into his practice that are more literal than his typically ambiguous aesthetic.

Through his work, Justin transforms sadness into hope and happiness into humor, creating objects that convey inner truths, emotion, and stories that invite connection.
